Key ingredients

  • Niacinamide

    Niacinamide

At 15%, a high dose. It works on uneven tone while supporting the barrier, but is worth building up to rather than starting on.

  • Tranexamic Acid

    Tranexamic Acid

A second route to the same problem, effective on discolouration that niacinamide alone does not shift.

  • Panthenol

    Panthenol

Provitamin B5, buffering skin against a dose this high used daily.

Care & Use

How to Use

  1. Apply 2-3 drops to clean skin, starting once daily at night.

  2. Build to twice daily if comfortable.

  3. Sunscreen every morning.

About the product

Medicube's TXA Niacinamide 15 Glow Serum is aimed at what a breakout leaves behind rather than the breakout itself.

Those are different problems requiring different products. A spot treatment works on active inflammation; the flat brown mark left once it has healed is pigment, and it responds only to actives that work on pigment. This serum stacks two of them - niacinamide at 15% and tranexamic acid - which attack discolouration by different mechanisms.

Fifteen percent is a high dose, and worth being honest about. Most niacinamide serums sit at 5-10%, and skin new to the ingredient can flush at this strength. Panthenol buffers that, but the sensible approach is to build up rather than start daily.

Use every other day at first, after cleansing and before moisturiser, moving to daily once your skin is comfortable. As with every product in this category, daily sunscreen does more for the outcome than the serum does - pigment returns under UV faster than any active can fade it.

Why we stock it

Fifteen percent niacinamide is a high dose and not everyone should start there. We stock it for people who already know they tolerate niacinamide and want the mark a blemish left behind dealt with properly.

Care
30 ml / 1.01 fl. oz. facial serum. Apply 2–3 drops over the face or concentrate on areas of concern. After cleansing and toning, apply 2–3 drops to the face or desired areas. Gently pat into the skin until fully absorbed. Follow with moisturizer. During the daytime, finish with sunscreen. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and close the dispenser tightly after use.

For the mark, not the spot.

A blemish clears in a week. The brown mark it leaves can sit for months, and no spot treatment touches it. Fifteen percent niacinamide with tranexamic acid is a serious dose aimed squarely at that second problem.

How it feels

A light serum that absorbs without residue. High-dose niacinamide can feel warm on first use - that settles as skin adjusts.

Frequently asked questions

Is 15% niacinamide too strong?

It is a high dose. If you have never used niacinamide, start with a 5-10% product instead. If you already tolerate it well, build this up from every other day rather than starting daily.

How long until marks fade?

Eight to twelve weeks of consistent use for post-acne marks, longer for deeper pigmentation. Daily sunscreen through that period matters as much as the serum.

Will it help with red marks?

Red marks are dilated capillaries rather than pigment, and respond to barrier repair and time instead. This works on the flat brown marks.

Can I use it with vitamin C?

Yes. A common approach is vitamin C in the morning and this at night, which spaces two potent actives rather than layering them.
