TOCOBO's Cica Cooling Sun Stick exists to solve the part of sun protection that creams cannot: reapplication.
An SPF 50 rating assumes an application rate and a reapplication schedule that almost nobody follows. The reason is practical rather than educational - reapplying a cream at 2pm means removing makeup, using both hands, and waiting for it to settle. A stick removes all three obstacles. It goes over makeup, needs no hands, and takes fifteen seconds.
The cooling finish is the second half of the design and it matters more here than it would elsewhere. In 45°C heat, a product that feels good to apply gets applied; one that feels like another layer does not. Centella Asiatica runs through TOCOBO's sun range as the calming base, with panthenol keeping repeated application from drying the skin.
Sweep two or three passes over each area, then press in with fingertips to even it out. Keep it out of direct heat - a stick left in a car will soften.

Can I use it over makeup?
Yes - that is the main reason to own one. Sweep it over and press gently with a fingertip; it will not disturb base makeup the way a cream does.
Is a stick as effective as a cream?
Only if you apply enough. Sticks tempt people to use a single light pass - use two or three passes over each area, and press in afterwards.
Does the cooling effect last?
It is most noticeable in the first minute and fades as the product settles. It is a comfort feature that encourages reapplication rather than a lasting temperature effect.
Can I use it around my eyes?
A stick is one of the better formats for the eye area because it does not run or sting the way a liquid can when you sweat. Keep it off the lash line itself.
How should I store it?
Away from direct heat. Left in a car in summer the stick will soften and lose its shape, though the protection itself is unaffected once it firms up again.
