TOCOBO's Cica Calming Sunscreen Serum is aimed at a specific customer: someone whose skin reddens in heat, and who has found that most sunscreens make that worse rather than better.
The usual problem is that a sunscreen is a filter system with a token soothing extract added near the end of the ingredient list. This is built the other way around - as a Centella Asiatica serum that happens to carry UV filters. That ordering is what makes it usable daily on reactive skin rather than something to be endured.
Panthenol works alongside the centella on the reactivity that sun and humidity provoke, and hyaluronic acid gives the serum texture its slip while stopping the finish from turning tight through the day.
Apply as the last step of the morning routine. Because the texture is closer to an essence than a cream, it layers under makeup without pilling and can be reapplied through the day without building up.

- As the final step of your morning skincare routine, apply an adequate amount evenly to the face, neck and other exposed areas. Gently spread until absorbed. Apply generously before sun exposure and reapply regularly, especially after sweating, swimming or towel drying.

Will this help with redness, or just not make it worse?
Both, over time. The centella base works on reactivity through daily use, while the UV protection removes one of the things provoking it. Expect gradual change rather than an immediate effect.
Is it suitable for very sensitive skin?
That is the intended audience. As with any new sunscreen, patch test on the inner arm for 24 hours first if your skin reacts easily.
Does it leave a cast?
No - it absorbs clear with a serum-like finish rather than the grey film mineral formulas can leave.
Can I use it over other serums?
Yes. Apply your treatment serums first, let them absorb, then this as the final morning step before makeup.
