The cleansing work is done by a blend of six plant oils, chosen as lighter esters rather than heavy occlusives so they dissolve sunscreen and base makeup and then lift away completely. Vitamin E keeps the oil phase stable over the life of a 200ml bottle.
Apply to dry skin with dry hands, massage for around thirty seconds so the oil has time to dissolve what is on the surface, then add water to emulsify and rinse. Follow with a gentle foam if you wear heavy makeup; for sunscreen alone it is usually enough by itself.

Do I need to double cleanse after this?
For sunscreen alone it is usually enough on its own. For long-wear foundation or heavy eye makeup, a gentle foam afterwards catches what is left along the hairline and jaw.
Will an oil cleanser clog my pores?
Congestion from an oil cleanser almost always comes from incomplete rinsing rather than the oil itself. Emulsify properly with water first, then rinse several times.
Can I use it on wet skin?
No - apply to dry skin and dry hands. Water present at the start makes the oil emulsify too early, and it will not dissolve sunscreen properly.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
The centella base is there for exactly that. As with any cleansing oil, the bigger irritant is usually over-massaging, so keep it to around thirty seconds.
How much should I use?
Two to three pumps for the whole face. Under-using it is the common mistake - there needs to be enough to move over the skin without dragging.
