Round Lab's Birch Juice Moisturizing Cleanser is built around the simplest test in skincare: what your skin feels like ninety seconds after you rinse.
If it feels tight, the cleanser took more than it should have. That tightness is a stripped acid mantle, and skin responds by producing more oil - which is how an aggressive cleanser makes oiliness worse and dryness unbearable at the same time.
This is creamy and low-foaming, using gentle surfactants rather than sulfates, on the birch sap base the whole Round Lab line is built on. Birch sap carries sugars and minerals that hold water, which is unusual in a product designed to be rinsed off. Panthenol offsets the mild drying any wash causes.
The low lather is deliberate and worth expecting - high foam almost always means a high-pH sulfate system.
Use a small amount on damp skin, working for twenty seconds before rinsing with lukewarm water. At night, follow an oil cleanser or balm; this will not remove sunscreen on its own.

Why does it barely foam?
Deliberate. High foam means sulfates at high pH, which is what strips skin. Low lather is the formula working as intended, not too little product.
Will it remove sunscreen?
Not on its own. Use an oil cleanser or balm first, then this as the second step.
Can I use it twice a day?
Yes - it is mild enough for morning and night. Very dry skin can rinse with water only in the morning and use this at night.
Is it suitable for oily skin?
It suits dry and sensitive skin best. Oily skin will find it pleasant but may prefer a gel cleanser for the second cleanse at night.
