A water gel is often not enough for skin sitting in air-conditioning all day. A proper cream is unwearable in July humidity. Most people here end up owning both and being fully satisfied by neither. This is the texture in between - springy in the jar, slippery on application, settling to a soft finish that is neither greasy nor tight.
Collagen is the named ingredient and worth being precise about: applied topically it works as a humectant and film-former, hydrating and smoothing the surface. It does not replace collagen within the skin, and any product implying otherwise is overstating things. Hyaluronic acid provides the water-binding, and panthenol keeps skin comfortable through a day of heat.
Use as the final step morning or night. On oily skin it works year-round on its own; on dry skin it suits summer, with something richer in winter.

- After cleansing and toning, apply an appropriate amount of the jelly cream to the face and neck as the final step of your skincare routine. Gently pat or massage until absorbed. Use morning and evening. For evening use, apply a more generous layer and allow it to absorb before bedtime. Avoid the eye and mouth areas

Does topical collagen actually work?
As a surface hydrator and film-former, yes - it smooths and softens. It does not rebuild collagen within the skin; the molecule is too large to penetrate, and any product claiming otherwise is overstating.
Is it enough on its own for dry skin?
In summer, usually. In winter or heavy air-conditioning, dry skin will want something richer over the top or a facial oil pressed on afterwards.
Can I use it under makeup?
Yes - it absorbs faster than a cream and leaves a soft rather than shiny finish. Give it a minute before base makeup.
Morning or night?
Either, or both. On oily skin it works year-round as the only moisturiser; on dry skin it is more of a summer product.
