Most acid products are either weekly peels - strong, provoking, and only occasionally used - or so mild they do nothing at all. This is built for regular use, and the base is why. Willow bark water replaces plain water as the foundation, and willow bark is a natural source of salicylates, so a gentle BHA character runs through the formula rather than arriving as a single spike of acid.
On top of that sit low doses of AHA and BHA. AHA works on the skin surface; BHA is oil-soluble and reaches inside the pore, which is why pore-focused products pair them. Panthenol offsets the dryness that follows regular exfoliation.
Apply after cleansing with hands or a cotton pad, before serums and moisturiser. Start every other day and build to daily. Sunscreen the following morning is essential.
