The structure is a patchouli-led oriental with a bright opening. Orange and bergamot keep the first twenty minutes fresh and citrus, which is what stops a patchouli composition reading as heavy from the outset. Rose and jasmine form the floral heart. How long does it last?
Eight hours or more, and it is often still detectable on clothing the next day. The patchouli base is responsible for both.
Is it too strong for an office?
Two sprays is fine in most workplaces. It does project, so over-application is the thing to avoid rather than the fragrance itself.
How is it different from Coco?
The original Coco is a much warmer, spicier oriental. Mademoiselle is brighter and more citrus-forward, and considerably more contemporary.
Does it work in hot weather?
Yes - the citrus opening carries it. Apply less than you would in winter, as patchouli amplifies in heat.
