The original CK One made shared, unisex fragrance mainstream - clean, sheer and deliberately unfussy. Gold keeps that unisex character and gives it more weight.
The opening is fig leaf - green and slightly milky, quite different from the original's citrus - with black pepper adding spice from the first spray. The base is woody amber, which is where the additional presence comes from; the original sits very light on the skin, while Gold has more body.
As a limited flanker it is a warmer, slightly dressier reading of a familiar idea rather than a departure from it.
