Beauty of Joseon's Red Bean Water Gel is built on a distinction most oily-skin products get wrong: oily and dehydrated are not opposites, and are frequently the same skin.
Skin producing excess oil is often skin with no water in it, compensating. The standard response - mattifying, stripping, absorbing - deepens the cycle. This gel does the opposite. Red bean extract, traditionally used in Korean skincare for congested skin, sits with hyaluronic acid and panthenol in a formula containing no oils at all. It adds water and nothing else.
The texture is a genuine water gel: cool going on, absorbed within seconds, leaving nothing on the surface for humidity to work against. That makes it wearable under sunscreen and makeup at times of year when a cream is unthinkable.
Use as the final step of the morning routine, or morning and night on very oily skin. If your skin is combination, it works well on the T-zone with something richer on drier areas.

Is a gel enough as a moisturiser?
For oily and combination skin, usually yes - especially in summer. Dry skin will want a cream, or this layered underneath one.
Will it help with oiliness?
Indirectly. It addresses the dehydration that often drives excess oil production. It is not a mattifier and will not reduce shine on contact.
Can I use it under makeup?
Yes - it absorbs completely with no residue, so base makeup sits on it cleanly. Give it thirty seconds before the next step.
Does it contain oils?
No. That is the point of the formula and the reason it suits skin that finds even light creams too much in humidity.
