That tight, squeaky finish is not cleanliness - it is a stripped acid mantle. Skin responds by producing more oil, which is how a cleanser intended to control oiliness ends up increasing it. This formula is mildly acidic, closer to skin's own pH, using green plum extract to achieve that rather than a high-foam sulfate system.
The result is a wash that clears sebum and daily grime and leaves skin soft. Panthenol offsets the mild drying any cleanser causes, which is what makes it tolerable twice a day.
Use a small amount on damp skin, work it for twenty seconds and rinse with lukewarm water. At night, follow an oil cleanser or balm with this as a second step - it will not remove sunscreen properly on its own.

Can I use it twice a day?
Yes for oily and combination skin. If your skin runs dry in air-conditioning, use it at night and rinse with water only in the morning.
Will it remove sunscreen?
Not on its own. Use an oil cleanser or balm first, then this as a second cleanse - that is the standard order for a day of high-factor SPF.
Why does it not foam much?
Deliberate. High foam usually means sulfates at high pH, which is what strips skin. The low lather is the formula working as intended.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
The low pH makes it gentler than most oil-control washes. It does contain fragrance, so patch test if you react easily.
