Zinc Oxide sits second, immediately after water, and it is the only UV filter in the formula - there are no chemical filters at all. What follows is where the product separates itself. Niacinamide appears tenth at a stated 2%, followed by Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract and Artemisia Capillaris (Mugwort) Flower Extract in sequence - four skincare actives high enough in the list to be doing real work rather than decorating the label.
Further down sit sodium hyaluronate, adenosine, palmitoyl tripeptide-5, squalane and allantoin. The squalane matters: mineral filters have a reputation for drying skin out over a day, and this is the part that counters it without making the finish heavy.
