Most mineral sunscreens stop at the filter. Read this list past the zinc oxide and you find niacinamide at 2%, then calendula, green tea and mugwort in sequence. That is a sunscreen built to be worn on reactive skin every day, not one you tolerate because you have to.
Thinner than most zinc formulas and it spreads without dragging. It finishes matte rather than dewy, which is what makes it wearable under makeup in humidity.

Second in the list and the only UV filter present - a physical block that sits on the surface rather than absorbing into skin.

Tenth in the list at a stated 2%. It works on tone and barrier strength while the zinc handles UV.

Artemisia capillaris flower extract. The calming ingredient AXIS-Y build around, included here for skin that flushes in heat.

Offsets the dryness mineral filters are known for, without adding the weight that makes a sunscreen pill under makeup.
AXIS-Y's Complete No-Stress Physical Sunscreen is a mineral SPF 50+ PA++++ now in its third formulation, and the ingredient order explains why it reads differently from most zinc sunscreens.
Zinc Oxide sits second, immediately after water, and it is the only UV filter in the formula - there are no chemical filters at all. What follows is where the product separates itself. Niacinamide appears tenth at a stated 2%, followed by Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract and Artemisia Capillaris (Mugwort) Flower Extract in sequence - four skincare actives high enough in the list to be doing real work rather than decorating the label.
Further down sit sodium hyaluronate, adenosine, palmitoyl tripeptide-5, squalane and allantoin. The squalane matters: mineral filters have a reputation for drying skin out over a day, and this is the part that counters it without making the finish heavy.
The formula is vegan and contains no added fragrance. The silicone system gives it a matte finish, which is what makes it wearable in Gulf humidity and under makeup - the practical test for whether a sunscreen actually gets reapplied.
Apply as the final step of the morning routine, after moisturiser and before makeup, and reapply through the day if you are outdoors.
Mineral sunscreens in this region usually fail one of two tests: they leave a cast, or they are so drying nobody reapplies. This one is on its third formulation and the reason we carry it is what sits behind the zinc - 2% niacinamide, mugwort, calendula and green tea, high enough in the list to matter. It behaves like a skincare step that happens to protect.

It is a zinc-based mineral filter, so some cast is inherent to the category. This formulation is on its third revision and spreads thinner than most, but on deeper skin tones expect a slight lightening that settles over a few minutes rather than disappearing entirely.
Fully physical. Zinc oxide is the only UV filter in the ingredient list - there are no chemical filters, which is why it suits skin that stings or flushes with conventional sunscreens.
Yes. The finish is matte rather than dewy and the silicone base gives makeup something to sit on. Let it set for a minute or two before applying base.
It is fragrance-free, uses only a mineral filter, and includes niacinamide, mugwort, calendula and green tea. That combination is aimed at reactive skin. As always with a new sunscreen, patch test if your skin reacts easily.
PA is the Asian rating for UVA protection, and four plus signs is the highest grade. SPF 50+ covers UVB. Together they mean broad-spectrum protection at the top of both scales.
Roughly two finger-lengths for the face and neck. Most people under-apply sunscreen, which is what turns an SPF 50 product into far less in practice - and reapply every two to three hours outdoors.
