Niacinamide sits third at 10% and tranexamic acid fourth at 4% - the two headline actives, working on uneven tone by different mechanisms. Behind them, and this is what separates the formula from a straightforward niacinamide serum, come Arbutin and Alpha-Arbutin at eighth and tenth. Both interrupt pigment production rather than only fading pigment already at the surface. A stable vitamin C derivative, 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, adds a fourth route further down.
One thing worth knowing if you compare ingredient lists online: the brand's own marketing graphic omits both arbutin forms. The regulatory panel printed on the carton lists them, and the front of the box advertises Arbutin 2% - the carton is the accurate source, and it is what we have transcribed here.
The supporting half of the formula is unusually considered. Ceramide NP, panthenol, centella asiatica and a long hyaluronic complex sit below the actives, because sustained brightening is drying and a stripped barrier undoes the result. There is no added fragrance.

How to Use
A twice-daily pigment treatment. Introduce it gradually if your skin is new to high-strength niacinamide, and pair it with sunscreen - without daily SPF, pigment care works against itself.

For the first week use it at night only, then move to morning and night once skin is comfortable.

Can I use this with vitamin C?
The serum already contains a stable vitamin C derivative, 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid. Layering a separate high-strength L-ascorbic acid serum on top is usually unnecessary and increases the chance of irritation. If you want both, use the vitamin C in the morning and this at night.
How long before I see a difference?
Discolouration responds slowly. Expect eight to twelve weeks of daily use for post-acne marks, and longer for deeper pigmentation. Daily sunscreen through that period does more for the result than any change to the serum.
Does it contain arbutin?
Yes - both arbutin and alpha-arbutin, eighth and tenth in the printed ingredient list on the carton, and the front of the box states Arbutin 2%. Some ingredient lists circulating online omit them; the carton is the accurate source.
Can I use it with retinol?
Niacinamide and retinol pair well and are often used together. Introduce them on alternate nights first, and only move to same-night layering once your skin is comfortable with each on its own.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
It is fragrance-free and includes ceramide NP, panthenol and centella to support the barrier. That said, 10% niacinamide is a meaningful dose - start every other day and build up if your skin flushes easily.
Do I still need sunscreen?
Yes, and it matters more than usual with this product. Every active in it works on pigment, and UV drives pigment. Without daily SPF you are treating and re-triggering the same marks at once.
